Selling your "Baby"
June 27, 2011
By: Rick Boxx

Could you imagine someone wanting to put a price on your baby? Regardless of the amount, you would feel offended that someone was trying to buy your child; a child you felt was priceless.

As I listened to a seller's rationale for the price they placed on their business I was reminded that many business owners must feel like they're selling their baby. Most of them started the business from scratch and have great memories and hopes for the future.

Psalm 24:1 teaches, "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."

You are a steward, not an owner. If God's called you to sell a business, get an objective valuation, set a realistic price, and let go of control.

For help in building integrity and faith into your workplace request our free "Ten Biblical Business Principles" bookmark.

To better understand and weave God's principles into your business life by our "Ten Biblical Principles for Business" bible study for our discounted price of $4!
