How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!
Psalm 32:2

For many, there is no greater relief than paying off a 30-year mortgage. Perhaps her mind journeys back to the day she signed the sheath of loan papers, and the anxiety she felt as she left the mortgage company with all that debt hanging over her. But then comes the joy of the loan being paid in full. The sin-debt is the heaviest, most pressing a person will ever know. Its principle is impossibly high, and is paid, not monthly, but moment by moment. God’s grace means payment of the debt in full. With His own blood, Jesus Christ wrote the check that paid off the mortgage.
