The spin machines of ancient Rome depicted Christians as unpatriotic cannibals who drank blood at “love feasts.” Today’s spinners write, as did one in The Washington Post, that Christians are “uneducated and easily led.” Such is no surprise to the followers of the Man Who was regarded by the establishment elite 20 centuries ago as rabble-rouser from the boondocks. When people spread rumors and lies about you it’s time to rejoiceâ€"they have linked you with your Master.
