A Daily Word - July 26, 2011 Jul 26th 2011, 04:00   July 26 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart. Psalm 119:2 "Gaining traction" is the effort to get momentum toward a desired goal. The harder it is to dig in, the more intense must be the effort. When we don't seem to "gain traction" in experiencing God, we are tempted to back off. Yet the problem may have been all along that we were half-hearted. God is seeking us with His whole heart, and wants us to seek Him with the totality of our heart. When we're struggling with His will and plan, it's not time to hesitate or slow down, but to hurl ourselves into seeking Him. That's when we "gain traction."
